Period Poverty Awareness Week 2023

The Pima County Board of Supervisors declared May 22-May 28 2023 as Period Poverty Awareness Week.

 

Supervisor Adelita Grijalva's District 5 office, is partnering with the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona, YWCA Tucson, The Pima County Health Department, and The Pima County Library and more to collect period products in honor of Period Poverty Awareness Week!

​

The donation drive will go from May 22nd to June 2nd at various locations throughout Pima County!

​

What to donate: 

  • New, unopened packages of pads, tampons, liners, and, or menstrual cups. Pads for urinary inconsistency for older adults will also be accepted!

​

Join FUGA Tucson on the Bicicleteada del Sur! You can join the community bike ride though the south side and bring period products to donate to the Period Poverty Awareness Drive!!
