June 2023

Happy Pride! June is Pride Month, and here at D5, we honor the history of the LGBTQ liberation movement and support the rights of all citizens to experience equality and freedom from discrimination!  June also means that the temperatures are rising! So don't forget to stay hydrated and stay cool at a County or City cooling station. As always, we are here to serve our community so please feel free to reach out to our office at anytime and follow us on social media to stay updated on what we are up to.

Pride Month

D5 was proud to support the proclamation proclaiming June 2023 to be Pride Month in Pima County and celebrate at various community events in June, including Pima County's first Pima PRIDE Event. Pima PRIDE honored the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and changed the lights of the Pima Historic Courthouse in honor of Pride!

The D5 office participated in celebrations of Juneteenth, a Pima County and federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in 1865.
